This Buck takes the Lead

Yesterday evening, while taking a drive around Antelope Island, I saw several vehicles pulled over to the side with their binoculars and cameras. Well, up along the edge was a few Bucks foraging in the vegetation and every so often they'd turn back to look at the humans... (They must be thinking, "What are those creatures down below?)

Very nice! I like how its antlers are different then the ones I got. These are less pointy and less dangerous looking, more like the ones you would see on Rudolph! Cheers!

Nice capture. I always enjoy seeing the deer and elk in velvet. This fellow has a nice rack with some atypical growth happening.

Oh, yes because of the Velvet. Definitely makes a difference in how they look.
