I'm back with some more city shots.

These are some shots from the Disney Concert hall in downtown LA. The building was designed by Frank Gehry and has some amazing lines and angles with lots of opportunities for the light to wrap around.

Thanks,

Mike

I have seen shots of this building but I always thought it was in Europe for some reason. Nice set!

Very nice, I love the tan sunlight bounce

I shot it when it was flat light and.... surprizingly they're flatter than yours... ne_nau.gif

    Thanks for the nice comments.

Taz, you may be thinking of the Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain. There are others, but that's the one that seems most similar to me. Gehry is a fairly prolific designer and his buildings are all very distinctive. This one is in downtown LA near the intersection of the 110 and 101 freeways.

I've seen a lot of very nice shots taken at sunset and dusk, but I was there earlier in the morning. I'm glad you like the shots.

Great architecture photos. I have not done much in that area. Number 2 is my favorite.

I'm a Gehry fan. and I laughed when my draftsman said...

Gehry's work: great.... from afar; inside.... far from great

Thanks Phil. I like architectural stuff generally, but don't get to do that much.

I went inside and I think the interior is pretty cool to look at. Lot's of sweeping lines and lighting. I can't say how functional it is, I was just there for the view.
