Very nice, I love the detail you have gone to, to ensure the perfect fit of all the parts. You are truly a Craftsman.
    Have a great day!

    Thank you Orv,

I'm starting the final sanding and finishing today !

The top is spalted and figured maple from British Columbia with a row of slate tiles in the middle, all the maple base parts will be black gesso and the bubinga panels will be oil and lacquer.

Gorgeous work. On the b/w I might go a little contrastier, and grain it up a bit. Very tactile images. Makes me want to run my hand along the wood grains. Thank you.

Don, just want to tell you how much I admire this kind of wood working talent. And the picture is a great perspective! Bravo lad! clap.gif
