Although there wasn't the kind of action I've come to expect of Bolsa,
there was still some photographic opportunities there today

    Some seriously nice photos (no they all are) there russ ! Exceptional sharpness & colour depth.

    the KF other wise knowas the $^&&^$%*() BIRDclap.gif but the tern shot too me is the best of the very good shots :D

    Aha - finally got to see the whole set (Smuggy has been a bit dodgy of late), and I think it was worth waiting. I really like the little kestrel/falcon, but it's not easy to pick a winner here. thumb.gif

    Hi Russ, Terrific set. I really like #4 and #5. I have yet to get close to a Kingfisher. There are a few around here but usually far away and they don't stay long.

    #5 is especially nice. You sure caught it at the perfect pose. Congrats on all..clap.gif

    Very nice shots, Russ. I vote an extra special award for making starlings look good. The tern shot is really nice, too.
