I think these are all computer generated bird depictions, because no one can get photos this good, and this often.

No, really, keep them coming. Awesome stuff!

    Hi David,

Well, if you're viewing my bird photographs by means of your computer, then I'll agree, they're 100% computer generated depictions!!! rolleyes1.gif

Once again I perused your fantastic galleries and my current favorite is your "Barn Number Eight" in your collection of "Recent Photos" which is an image that should not be missed! Sensational work! clap.gif

    Thanks for you comments!

    Best regards,

    Tony

I don't think I've seen a bird with blue eyes before - do you know what name this bird wears?

    Hi Denise,

The "Moment of Self-Reflection" photo, which is of a female Bushtit, is my most popular photograph and it was taken with my very first digital camera. This camera was a 3 megapixel, 8 X optical zoom model with absolutely no image-stabilization!

The second image is a cormorant and this one's called a "Brandt's Cormorant." The first portion of the name belongs to Johann Friedrich von Brandt. a German naturalist. The word "cormorant" means "sea raven."

    Take care,

    Tony

Hmm... I wonder if this bird thinks it is a good hair day or a bad hair day.

    Love the set!

    Hi Denise,

I always enjoy when they display their crest feathers in this fashion! In this shot I wanted to blend the crest feathers of this Snowy Egret with the white reflection of a sail from a boat in a harbor. The effect also reminds me of a comet traveling across the heavens!

On your website I really enjoyed your "Outdoor beauty - Parker River 2012" gallery featuring those adorable Sanderlings. Great photos!

Thank you! Parker River National Wildlife Refuge is a favorite place, and the sanderlings were happy to pose that day.

I certainly did! A water lily and a pair of ducklings is a great example of Mother Nature at her finest!
