This is a few year old shot I took in Hawaii. Was archiving stuff and decided to reprocess it. Need to visit this place again to reshoot it with what I know now.

Love this one Alex! Please try cropping bottom 10%.....the shadow in bottom left if that strip is complete taken out from bottom.....ah.....it is gorgeous! Cheers!

ummm.. as they say...an oldie but goodie! Makes me think why I think old photos are the best -- in that they capture the feeling... if you know what I mean....

Very nice, Alex. Did you shoot this in raw? Maybe bring up the black point a little bit?

    Joel,

Always shoot RAW. I opened up the shadows/raised the black point like you suggested. Also cropped it a bit as Taz suggested.

    Whatcha think? Better I think.

Looks good! The crop was probably a good call, not so bottom heavy now. I would also get rid of those two unidentifiable white spots at the base of the trees. I know you shoot raw now, but you did say you shot it a few years ago. I originally started out shooting JPGs, although that didn't last long.
