This past week I had the wonderful pleasure of capturing the memories at Rosa and Scott's Wedding. The wedding took place at Wolf Lakes in Clovis, CA. It is an incredibly beautiful location for a wedding. Beautiful gardens, a lakeside venue, and a wonderful staff to insure the day is everything the couple dreams it could be.<br><br>(The images are formatted for my blog, so if you're not a fan of the borders, please forgive me. This is also the way I format my proofs. I love giving a B&G 5x5 prints instead of 4x6. I want to set myself apart in everything that I do. I don't want to give a couple a stack of 4x6 prints that look like they could have been processed at WalMart....just my $.02)<br><br>The first one dressed and ready on the wedding day was the couples daughter Kayla. She and I went for a walk while everyone else was still getting ready. Here's one of my favorite shots from that walk.<br>1.<br><img src="http://heatherdunn.smugmug.com/photos/523414369_4Ze6d-L.jpg&quot; alt="null" /><br><br>After my walk with Kayla I spent some time with the guys. Here's my favorite shot of Scott with the groomsmen.<br>2.<br>
<img src="http://heatherdunn.smugmug.com/photos/523414955_4Wpoq-L.jpg&quot; alt="null" /><br><br>We were on our way to the dock for some photographs, when Scott reached down and swept Rosa off of her feet. He carried her all the way to the dock. I thought it was rather romantic, until he pretended to throw her in the lake....lol<br>3.<br>
<img src="http://heatherdunn.smugmug.com/photos/523415293_x4ejj-L.jpg&quot; alt="null" /><br><br>Once on the dock, I was able to capture some beautiful images. Rosa and Scott had practiced the "almost kiss" in their engagement session. Woohoo, boy did they get it right on the dock! I LOVE this shot!<br>4.<br>
<img src="http://heatherdunn.smugmug.com/photos/523415640_NoTHx-L.jpg&quot; alt="null" /><br><br>There's a vine covered walkway at Wolf Lakes that's really neat when it's lit up at night. I stole Rosa and Scott away from the reception for a few to take some more shots of just them. Here they are dancing in the walkway. (I'm still debating over my PP on this one, but wanted to share it anyway)<br>5.<br>

Some of the last moments I spent with Rosa and Scott were in the courtyard next to the fountain. As much as I loved the photograph and the moment that took place...I love the "art" version of the moment even better. This is the photo that was taken by the fountain.<br>6.<br>
<img src="http://heatherdunn.smugmug.com/photos/523416949_GHipc-L.jpg&quot; alt="null" /><br><br>This is the art version, but to me it still didn't seem finished.<br>7.<br>
<img src="http://heatherdunn.smugmug.com/photos/523416393_TqJWQ-L.jpg&quot; alt="null" /><br><br>Here's the final version of the art piece. I have been waiting for just the right image to use on a Metal Mural sample. Soon, this should be in my studio as a 4'x3' Metal Mural!<br>8.<br>
<img src="http://heatherdunn.smugmug.com/photos/523416699_iP6RZ-L.jpg&quot; alt="null" /><br><br>Those are a few of my favs......Thanks for looking. C&C welcome.

    Nice!

#2, I like how they are trying to look like they are suave and cool! rolleyes1.gifToo bad the dude in the back left kept both hands out. Although that does make a nice break in symmetry.

#3, rolleyes1.gifI bet she was thrilled with that! I would have cracked up if I was shooting that!

Thank you. Coming from you this is quite a compliment. (iloveyou.gif your work)

The setting is amazing. They host HUNDREDS of weddings a year. This past weekend, there were 6 weddings there. (Oh, what I wouldn't do to get on their preferred list!) This was my first wedding shot there. I'll have to post some more when I finish processing them!

    4, 5 & 6 are ultra yum.....Beautiful shots.
    Loving them all the way.

#3- your skin tones need a little adjustment, but you are right- pretty darn romantic.

    What an amazing venue!

Thanks so much! I'll take a look at #3's tones when I get home tonight.

What was so great about this couple....is that he was sooo into her. They were already legally married, but had never had the big ceremony. I love that even after being married prior to the ceremony, she's his everything.

It truly is an amazing location for a wedding/reception. I want to get on that preferred list pretty bad!

Nice! I like #1 the best... I'm always a sucker for a flower girl. She must be a patient little kid to have her hair done up that way. Must have taken forever!!

I like your diffuse frame on the last one. neat concept!

    Very nice work.
I like the roomy compositions and lighting.
The last photo is really well done.
For me I would stick with the art version, the metal mural version competes to much with the classic photo and in my opinion subtracts from the photo.

    Very well done!
