After the rains
Much to my suprise found a male darter dragonfly still about after the recent rains - there were actually 2 of them having periodic ownership fights over the neighbour's pond.
All natural light shots - 600D/Tamron90

Thanks Phil, no it's a stack (3 shots I think) to get the nearside wings in focus.

All great. I like the sixth the most, not for reasons of composition (I'd pick 2 and 3 for composition), but because it so clearly shows the thin neck and huge head--reminds me of a bobble-head doll.
