If you hate straps, you'll love the black rapid, It's the strap that is closest thing to not having a strap.

Nicole, Black Rapid Strap. You saw me use it when I was shooting you and Liam! It is totally out of the way and you can let go of the camera without it falling to the ground! It goes straight to the waist or where ever you extend or shorten it to.

Love #4 and the colors look great!

If you go with BR straps, make sure you check and tighten that screw securely every wedding. Last March I was shooting a reception and luckily I was holding the camera on my side. When I raised my hand with the camera, I realized the strap had fallen away. Freaked me out good.

That happened to me too! It luckily fell onto my camera bag which was an inch under it. Just make sure the thing is tight, especially at the tightener! Other than that no issue!

I have the black rapid 7, amazing. I too - hate straps. I was going back and forth between just getting a hand strap, or a black rapid strap. I ended up going with this and never regret getting it.

There are a lot of tips on their website, but one way to make sure the screw is on tight is to get it wet before you thread it on. The moisture allows you to screw it down further, and when the water evaporates out of the rubber, you get an uber tight seal.

That really sucks about the 24-70 :cry but you have some really nice images here!! clap.gif I really like 2, 3 and 6.

Ted i think she is referring to the photos you took of me and Liam, do you have them on your smug mug site. I am sitting at my moms right now and she has one framed on her desk! the one of me kissing Liam on the cheek. iloveyou.gif

Also, an FYI, Ted and I went to highschool together. Small world.
