Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

I've installed the code and configured it to make the text bold when on the appropriate page. It works correctly in some instances and doesn't in others.

My Nav Bar has:
Home - Galleries - Buy Prints - About - Contact

When on the Home page, no text is bold
When on the Galleries page, Galleries is bold
When on the Buy Prints page, Galleries is bold
When on the About page, About is bold
When on the Contact page, whichever page was current when the Contact link is selected is bold, but Contact is never bold.

Any idea what is causing the problem?

Thanks,
Andrew

Home looks bold to me.

Change the buy prints link in your navbar to the actual page that it takes you to. It's doing some sort of redirect. The page you end up on must match the actual link to get highlighting.

There is no contact page. That's just a javascript induced overlay - no actual page so you won't get bolding for contact.

Thanks John!

Home is bold for me as well. Not sure why it wasn't working yesterday.
The link to the Buy Prints page was a vanity url. I changed it to the actual url as you suggested and all is correct now.

Change the href value in the contact link in your navbar to be something like "/contact". It isn't used, so we just need it to not match a page you actually use. Currently, it is set to "/" which matches the homepage.
