Title lags picture in Fullscreen

I used the Share button to get a link to a Fullscreen Slideshow.

The link works, but the title/caption lags the picture, to the point where next picture appears on the screen while title from the previous slide is still showing, making it very difficult to follow.
Smugmug support says that the speed of this "fade" feature cannot be changed. I don't care if the title fades or not--I just want the right title to show with the picture.
Can this be fixed? Thanks.

On pursuing this further with Smugmug, I was informed that this is a bug, and they will be working on it, and let me know when it is fixed.
Strangely, the problem does not occur when the slideshow is run on fast, but is there on medium and slow.
