This session had me choked up. The grandmother has terminal cancer and her mom hired me to get shots of her enjoying moments with her grandchildren. I was warned grandma doesn't like her picture taken and she was not looking forward to the session. At first she was reluctant get her picture taken but once the family started to goof off she was all smiles. It was a blessing for me to be a small part of their holiday as their time together is precious now. This family is probably going to have a difficult 2015 so I felt privileged to capture some happy moments for them now.

Technicals: These were with a fuji x100s and fuji x-t1/56 1.2. Off camera light provided by AB800. Shot raw, conversion by Iridient Developer and not much edting other than exposure, crop, and taking people out of the backgrounds.
