Can not upload

Hi am trying to upload my photos but keep getting a message that says uploading is disabled, try later. Can anyone tell me why and for how long? cheers

    Yes, having the same problem here in the UK. I've being trying for hours to upload and I keep getting the same error message that you are getting.

    It's getting really frustrating now! :nah

    extremely frustrating. I have a stack of photos to upload for my clients and just cant get going. Another late night tonight!!!!

    Same upload problem here in Dubai! Receiving the following error message:
    • Uploading is Temporarily Disabled. Please Retry Later.

    It's usually a good idea to check the status page if you're having problems like the one described in this thread - http://status.smugmug.com/. My assumption if uploading is turned off is that there is a problem that is being worked, but I usually check the status page, contacting the help desk if there isn't an active notification.

    Here's the upload status from that page, pulled just now:
    Update - We are continuing to repair and work around the issue that is causing upload problems.
    Aug 22, 04:05 PDT
    Identified - We've identified the problem and have turned off uploading as we continue to work to repair it.
    Aug 22, 00:20 PDT
    Investigating - We’re seeing some issues with photo and video uploads. We’ll take a closer look and will update you when we have a fix.

    Well, I can upload.

    But the photo is still "processing" 30 minutes later. Arghhh. And the status page sez all is ok.

    I can upload but photos stuck on "Processing.. " :(

    I'm in Australia (if that makes any difference) ... it might time zone wise?
    I was able to upload about 700 photos into 13 new galleries, over the last 8 hours, without any trouble at all.
    Worked perfectly
    My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

    I am. Possibly because my computer is old? I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8. I tried on Safari and Chrome. :(

    Will you please shoot an email to help@smugmug.com and get in touch with the Support Heroes. Please explain that you're experiencing issue uploading and we'll do our best to help. Something to keep in mind is that SmugMug requires third party cookies to be enabled. There are special upload cookies that are needed. If you're blocking third party cookies, please enable them and try again.

    A little update: I can upload with Firefox browser. :)
    If "processing" takes a little long, I reload the page and everything is there.
