Resizing Page Images

On my homepage I'm able to select in the ruler section which percentage of the row each content block takes up which allows the images to be resized with the page. However, I'm trying to design a page and it only gives me the option of how many pixels wide the images should be rather than the percentage so they never resize. Can we fix this please?

    This stymied me too for a while. You need to set the layout for the page to stretchy in custumize and the images and other blocks will be sized in percentages. For some strange reason, new pages are all fixed width.
