Sure thing! You should be able to do that with a background slideshow on your homage. This will be done from your site customizer.

From your site, click "Customize" > "Content and Design" to access the customizer, then click on the "Homepage" section in the customizer bar on the right. From there, click on the "Background" section of the customizer bar. In the top "Type" dropdown, select "Slideshow" and then set it up with the gallery or photos that you want from your site. The way to get the movement between photos is to change the "Transition" dropdown to "Zoom Out" which will give you the movement that you want.

Let us know if you need anything else along the way.

I hope you'll reconsider if you're thinking of adding this kind of movement to your site. The background movement pulls your eyes away from the site content. Is that really what you want?

Thanks, Denise and Oliver. Embarrassed am I that I didn't check the available options.
Denise, I confess that sample site bedazzled me. You are right, the eye stays stuck on the color and motion.
I don't know that I could ever get it together to figure this out, but in my imagination a faint transparent outline (like a line drawing), would populate and shrink - but just once. Shrink and then freeze in place. Is freeze in place possible?

I'm not really sure what you mean by this most recent post. Could you try to find another site as an example that we might be able to take a look at?

I don't think I'll be able to find another example.
If you look at that link I provided in my original message, there are two images that zoom (from out, to in). They alternate, first one zooms from out to in, then the 2nd flickers in and zooms from out to in. Repeat, out-in, out-in.

I was wondering if, when a visitor arrives, there is only one image, which zooms from out, to in, and then stops on In. No more out-in repeats. Does this help?
