From computer to Smugmug
I recently purchased a new computer, desktop and also finally upgraded to Windows 7 and calibrated my monitor using that tool. Now I'm finding my pics from computer to smugmug have changed in color. I've never used any calibration before and have had awesome results. Any idea why they are changing from my computer to smugmug? They look horrible now.

Hi,

We have a great help page on calibration, which explains why your photos can look different from your monitor to prints. Please see this help page:

http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93361

We can send you calibration prints (which are free) so you can compare what you see on your monitor to what will be printed. Email us at the help desk (help@smugmug.com) if you want the calibration prints.

I will check this out. I have not ordered prints at all so not sure if it does the same. In photoshop they look great, when I send to smugmug they look bad. Any idea what might cause this?

Check your display settings in Windows that you're using the sRGB profile for your screen.

What color profile are your photos in? We only support photos in sRGB and if you upload them in any other profile than sRGB, our system will convert the photos.

With what browser version are you looking at site? Some browsers are color profile aware while others may not be.

Does the photo still look different in your browser if you're viewing it in the Windows photo viewer instead of Photoshop for comparison?

Tx. I think it was a combination of a couple things. Fingers crossed.
