Hello this is an emergency :{{{{{{

I just got back from an event where I shot 200 pictures and inserted my compact flash in my computer when suddenly I couldn't see any pictures :scratch:scratch:scratch:scratch

I saved some of them on my compact flash and can see the new saved pictures but its all white with a cross in a midlle of the pictures. When I say pictures I should say square box with an X in the middle because they are all gone. I shot another picture of the ceiling and viewed the pictures on my computer and.................its there. So now I have a lousy picture of the ceiling with hundreds of crossed white boxes:scratch:scratch:scratch:scratch

Is there anything I can do to retrieve the pictures or they are forever gone?

Thanks you

    Have you tried the recovery software provided by the card manufacturer? How's about reading the images from the camera (card inserted into the camera)?

    If you're not comfortable, a recovery service might be able to help.

    Hello,

    You might want to try this program:

    https://www.piriform.com/recuva/download

    This program has saved me on a important assignment which I lost 200 plus photos which I recovered by using Recuva software and actually last month I was able to recovery all photos from my co-workers memory card. I wish you the best of luck. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. Thanks.
