Scene from Moraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park. Is it just me, or does this photo almost look like it's in 3-D because of the hazy mountains in the background?

    Nice Dixie . . . I think the sharper image in the foreground does give the image some depth. Seen this effect on pictures where the background is extremely out of focus giving, as you say, a 3d impact.

    Thanks for the comment. I had looked at it as haze, but I think that you are right about the sharper foreground with the OOF background being the primary caused.
