This little pond is at 12,126'. It's overlooking Taylor Park, CO, where we spent the summer.
Even the scrub willows get in on the act in fall.

Great detail in this. Even the splashes of color alongside the mountains just make it a wow. Nice composition and it looks like I'm sitting in my lawn chair over the kingdom!

    Terrific shot, Pard.

Boy, you pull no punches in trying to get a guy to spend some time out there.

BTW....are you any kind of a cook? The promise of some good fireside vittles would be a big attraction for me.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Alright, gentlemen, I make some pretty good chili……..with no beans! If you invite me along I might be persuaded to cook you some. :D

Beautiful scene, Randy. The composition is excellent and the colors so vibrant. Well done!

    Howdy Lauren,

I'm a bit surprised. I thought you knew that you already had a standing invitation.

If not, then here it is:

Let's all get together for some fun in beautiful Colorado!

Beautiful image Randy. Every time I see the beauty of that part of the country I regret never having been there. I'm seriously thinking of buying a trailer, loading up my dog and cat and "head'in west"

I am going to call you on another matter later today. When you see 413 area code pick up that will be me.
