PRICE LOWERED to $275 shipped and paypal'd -

Up for sale is a Nikon Nikkor 20mm 2.8 lens and SB800 flash (really prefer to trade the SB800 for an SB600 plus cash, at least $150+ depending on the condition of your SB600).

Dozens of photos of these are available here.

The 20mm is an awesome fast wide lens with a 62mm front filter (Nikon 37c included). Also included are front/rear caps and the HB-4 lens shade. $345 includes insured CONUS shipping and paypal fees.

KEH currently has this lens (the non-D) for $449 EX+, $429 EX, and $349 BGN.

A few pics of my lens:

The filter contains some scuffs that do not show up on photos, but I'm including it for free with the lens.

And a few pics taken with this lens:

Now for the SB-800; I'm really looking to trade this for an SB-600 plus at least $150 depending on the condition but have been asked about an outright sale - although not preferred, I would sell it outright at this point for $400 including insured CONUS shipping and paypal fee.

Here's a few pics of the flash, it comes with everything pictured:

The price is a little steap for me for a used SB800. Sorry.

Mack, we keep pricing comments private here.

Dizzle, please start your own thread if you have something to sell.

    thanks,

    thanks,

Thanks - and to the price commenters.... that's why the thread doesn't say "SB800 $400 firm" it says that I want to T-R-A-D-E it, but when asked about an outright sale (which is NOT MY PREFERENCE) then the price would be $400, because I'd have to then source an SB600 as the replacement.

I'm more than happy to keep the SB800 in the meantime ne_nau.gif even though I've seen over a dozen sell for OVER $400 in the past month (used).

Eric most people are well aware of the recent surge in the secondary market price of the SB800's in light of them being discontinued and the overheating and other issues with the SB900's. MANY SB800's have sold for more than the price of a brand new 900.

Back on track... I'm lowering the price on the 20mm lens.

PRICE LOWERED to $275 shipped and paypal'd - I took some up close and macro shots of the glass and noticed some scuffing on the back glass.

I've never noticed this before with the naked eye, and it's never shown up in my photos but in the interest of full disclosure I wanted to mention it and I've also added a dozen or so detailed photos here:

    thanks,

And I wasn't the only one to make a comment about it...

He's not selling, he's offering to trade his sb600 + $75 cash which is what the thread starter wants to do.......... you'd know that from reading the first post.

Sorry, of course that's not out of line. I don't always have time to follow every thread in the forum post for post.

Bump for the 20mm lens for sale...

... and here's maybe a weird request - I'm open to any feedback via PM or email on the pricing of this lens.

My standard approach is to show as many pics and detailed description as possible and price according to similar ones for sale and I like to include shipping and paypal fees so that no one has to guess on their total outlay for the purchase.

Then if the item doesn't sell after a few weeks, lower the price (I'd rather sell today at x-y than a year down the road for x). With this one, it's at $275 now, I'll drop it to $265 shipped/paypal'd next week - that approach sound pretty reasonable? thumb.gif
