Stayed in a Indian Casino Hotel in Acoma NM on a cross country last week and was impressed by a bronze in a hallway

I couldn't help myself

Very creative idea and nice execution. Sky colors really add to the effect of the image. Well done!

I still like the first one better. The dark sky makes the scene a bit eerie and more apropos for a spirit rider. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I was experimenting with moving the ground instead of motion on the subject

I like the storm clouds better too

I prefer the first one too...
A suggestion; to my eye, in the background, the fore and mid-ground lines (fence/road-side weeds) are at an
angle approaching perpendicular to the implied motion of the "spirit"
I wonder if they were more in-line, would it would seem to flow better?

So you're suggesting I move the earth.... that's doable... :D

To be honest if I knew what I was going to do with it, I would have shot a 3/4 oncoming view

Thanks for looking in and I appreciate all the comments (and tips)

Yes, I think that's better rags... the absence of the dirt-patch in the lower left corner helps tidy the composition.

I like the idea and all three versions are good for different reasons. My favorite is the third one. I agree about cleaning up the foreground and I think the more subdued sky in version 3 enhances the ghostliness of the image. Very well done!
