great shot - ever think of making it a little darker with a bit more contrast in the lower half

The white vegetation in the foreground are like skeletons. Really adds character to the photo. Nice!

Very nice, Aaron. Another great location. The untracked sand speaks to the remoteness of the location.

Thanks- I did play with this a few times but adding more contrast didn't appeal to me. These tones are more natural looking and closer to reality. Thanks for the comments and question.

Thanks Cavalier- BW doesn't always work when the tones are similar. This one took quite a bit of trial and error to get right.

Thanks Phil. This area offers tons of opportunity. I cannot wait to get back up there with some more time to explore.

Thanks CCoop. Yes, I knew I needed to include the vegetation here. They act as an anchor to a scene that could be too busy otherwise. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Yeah- glad to have found this location. We did see one other vehicle with two occupants but the wild horses still outnumbered all of us. No pictures of said horses in this location.

Beautiful shot. Looks like it might need a slight tilt to the right, though. Great shot and processing Aaron!
