Great subject Jeff... I spent many an hour lying underneath a number of these - cussing, getting bloody and greasy, and worst of all... spilling my beer.
But - for me - the yellow post, the right edge obstruction, and underexposure detract from image quality.

trust me, I have looked at this shot over and over.....going between liking it to hating it JUST BECAUSE of that stupid yellow post!! I felt it was the only flaw in what I thought was a great shot. And my dad always called his old Beetle, "rubber mallet". I think I've seen him hit that engine a hundred times over the years to get it to start haha. Thanks for your input!
