    I've been doing some "fooling" myself. I like where you're going with these. I've been having a lot of fun with the Nik silver effex module trial. If you have time give it a try.

    I agree #1 is very interesting, it has a misterious feel. Did you try different contrast settings?

    I also like the birds, in a creepy way.

    Snapped it thru my windshield as i pulled in to work one morning. Straight black n white layer via photoshop.

    The #1 doesnt really have much of a process to it. The biggest change was a fairly large crop getting rid of another building on the right. The black and white conversion was really just a layer in photoshop. I may have very slightly darkened the gazebo. But otherwise i think i left it alone. It was already a very grey and soft morning. I'll do a straight conversion from the raw to jpg for comparison when i get back to work, which is where it is.

    On the nik stuff, i've been bouncing around all over the place. Sometimes i will go striaght for the sliders, sometimes the control points, sometimes one of the presets will really grab me. And various combinations of them all.

    Thank you. I've always been fascinated by the "God Lights". Every time I see it, it immediately grabs my attention and I say Ohhhhh look at that.
