  Use a custom link instead of your /gallery/ and /purchase/ page. So instead of using this 'http://www.jennafineart.com/Gallery", change it to "http://www.jennafineart.com/#". Use the same link for your Purchase page.

  Can I ask how, since I am also interested in this? If you change the top menu item to a custom page, you can't set up any sublinks? I tried with my Portfolio folder, where I have some galleries. When changing it to a custom page, none of the galleries is shown as submenu items...

  To make the top menu names inactive (and therefore NOT links):
  
  leave the link address blank when setting up (http://__________________________)
