I used to buy nothing but maxtors, until the last one died on me. Twice.

Now its Seagate for me (who now own Maxtor)...

    what server ?

and to be more specific, it is probably the wireless access point attached to my server that has died, not the server itself.

When I right click on the folder, I can no longer change the properties. All that comes up with doing that right click on the folder, all I can change is the album name..(new feature?)

I can however do a builk update...so I assume that this would do it to ALL the folders...

11 hour shifts...in the morning 2-3 hours down time, in the afternoon 4-5 hours down time. Depending on what flights are running, and if they are on time. Last week I spent 10.5 hours doing absolutely nothing...we where fogged in. Wasn't as bad the previous day.

I work at the local airport working the ramp/cargo....deadly quite for most part. Pay sucks - but I get to nap.

    Having touble in Linux
    Hello there,

I decided to give this fine program/plugin a try today as I had some photos to upload to various albums. I got the latest version 0.3.11. I managed to add my account and login. I then created two new albums to upload some pics to. All of this seemed to work without a hitch. I then proceeded to try and upload some pictures off my hard drive and the issues arose.

I am currently using Linux on my machine. I am fairly new to the world of linux so this problem could very well be my fault. What is happening is that smugbrowser isn't seeing all my jpg's in all folders for some odd reason. The files are there but smugbrowser sees nothing. It seems to be random too. Some folders I click on and all the jpeg's pop up. Others I click on and nothing comes up at all. I have tried comparing folders that work and folders that don't but can't find any difference really.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately, I don't have an Linux machine available for testing atm.

Can you please provide some screenshots, so that I can see what is going wrong ?

    Thanks,

    What about 2.0.0.1
    I upgraded firefox to 2.0.0.1 from 2.0.
The extension is not working now. Is there an automatic update available?

Here's a quick screenshot of one of the folders I am having trouble with. I have opened the folder both in Smugbrowser and in Linux' built in file browser to show what's in the folder and that the files are not appearing in smugbrowser for some reason.

Is this what you were after? If you want any other info please ask. Thanks a bunch! I just noticed the picture turned out a bit small here's a link to the gallery http://ouldsmobile.smugmug.com/gallery/2281104/1/119185963 where you can view it in it's original full size.

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for that I will have to look into it. Have you tried drag-n-drop ?

    David,

I just finished my first "serious" session with SmugBrowser, and it was a godsend. bowdown.gif Thanks so much for your time and effort! I do have a few requests/comments...
    1. Bulk password changing... I need to temporarily remove password protection from ALL my galleries so I can do some keyword searching. I can easily bulk add/change the password, but there's currently no way to bulk remove the password. Leaving the edit box blank just leaves everything the same.
    2. Bulk gallery recategorization... I had to do 81 galleries by hand today, and it wasn't fun. Bulk recategorization would be the win.
    3. Scroll issues... With the tree expanded to a height larger than the window, the scroll bar didn't do anything. Mouse wheel worked fine, but the scroll bar had no effect.
Again, thanks, and Happy New Year!

At the time I did think about doing this, I need to implement something like using a keyword "<delete>" to identify that the password needs to be removed.

Initially, I did want to implement this, but I was a bit worried about people accidentally changing something and totally recategorising their galleries. For some time, I have been wanting to make it possible to drag-n-drop gallieries within the tree, to re-categorise stuff, perhaps I will look at implementing this.

Yeah, I have known about this issue for a little while, not sure why it is happening..but i haven't put alot of enough into it. I have been playing with a few mock up designs for a new interface...and I haven't come across this...so I am guessing it might be something simple.

Thanks for taking the time to both use my extension and post your results.

Hope you have a good new year.

    Cheers,

    Excellent tool.

Everything on my end works great except the "Remove" or "Remove All" from the upload window. Neither of those options do anything and the only way I can clear the window is close the app. Any ideas?
