Lightroom upload very slow

I am trying to sync a LR 5 gallery with 300 photos from Lightroom to SmugMug and have a reasonably fast Internet link. After four hours only four photos have been uploaded. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

I am able to upload exported photos at reasonable speed. But this is way less convenient.

    I too have been experiencing extremely slow uploads, but not from LR. I've tried the Smugmug web uploader, as well as the Send To Smugmug browser plug in. Using the Smugmug upload speedtest, I'm registering 6Mbs upload speeds. However, when actually uploading photos, my speed is around 200 Kbs. That's 1/30th of the rate that Smugmug's speedtest says that I should be getting. I've been working with Smugmug support, but we have not been making headway and they claim there's no problem on their end.

    So if anybody else is having slow uploads, please speak up. Thanks.
