recent wedding

You guys chimed in recently on my question about different body type and best shooting methods.
So, let me tell the the story...

this was the first wedding in the church i've ever encountered that did literally no dressing up for the wedding. No welcome message to the couple, no flowers, not a single thing to greet people or give a sign that there is a wedding going on.
The church is a modern one. "yay!", I thought "good lights!". Well, the lights were RGB LEDs, with emphasis on blue and red.
No light except for two large digital screens, a dozen amazingly dim incandescent lights, those LED projectors and digital spotlight (which bride and her dad successfully missed)

for the record, the groom is a good friend of mine. I have barely any pictures of him getting ready because he was in a pretty bad shape all the way to the ceremony (nerves, he was convinced that she won't show to the altar, crazy guy! )
