The really huge ones that literally do bumble about the garden

I opted to go all manual flash on these. I do use ETTL for most of my shots but decided as I was in a rebellious mood (what wth NL shots, F/16 the previous day and so on) I'd go Manual

Came out beautifully - I find these dark bumble bees one of the hardest subjects to get reasonable exposure/definition.

Haha, it's something I learned with macro, it can be frustrating but you learn the tricks as you go along
