We spent the other day shooting Grand Prismatic Spring and after walking the boardwalk, which you should do to see it up close, we hiked the Fiary Falls trail so we could get the aerial view of this breathtaking wonder.

Its the largest spring in Yellowstone and one of the largest in North America. To see it from this angle is jaw dropping and you almost feel like you're on another planet. If coming to shoot the springs and geysers, make sure you have a wide angle lens and a circular polarizer for your camra.

The boarwalk you see behind the spring is a 1/2 mile in length to give you an idea of the size of the spring!!

Here is the angle you get from the boardwalk, and although its cool, its not as powerful as the view from atop the little knoll you can see behind the water
