Google search results in subcategory instead of root
Hi,

From Google, when you type in "Rod Alvarado Photography", the smugmug result is: Rod Alvarado Photography : Other, rodalvaradophoto.smugmug.com/OtherShare. This "Other" category doesn't exist on my website. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I'd like the result to be the root directory: rodalvaradophoto.smugmug.com.

Thanks,

Rod

Hi Rod,
At some point you likely had a public gallery in that other category. Maybe you deleted it or reassigned it to another category?

It'll take some time for Google to update their index for your site. I would recommend that you just keep on adding content and follow the suggestions from our SEO page. That'll help with getting more of your content indexed and up in search results (if you'd like).
