I got 2 cards 4GB cards for my Canon 1D Mark II N camera.
1. ACP-EP 4GB Extreme Performance Secure Digital Card - 150X - 4 GB - Secure Digital (SD) Card
2. SanDisk 4GB Compact Flash Card

The SanDisk 4GB Compact Flash Card worked fine and I was able to format it etc. But the Secure Digital (SD) Card is not been recognized by the Camera - and cannot format just gives a message that formatting is required. Let me know if there is a way to make this work. I was not able to research old postings.

Thanks,
Milind

Canon has publicly stated that a firmware change is required for the 1DMkIIN to be compatible with SD cards of over 2GB capacity, but that they are awaiting confirmation of the relevant industry standard.

I'm sure they will provide a firmware update promptly after the standard is promulgated. For my part, I'm perfectly happy using 2GB SanDisk SD cards, at least in the meanwhile. Hopefully for you, your 4GB cards will meet the finalised standard.
