I clean-installed one and upgraded the other. Like I said, I knew what I was getting into. :-)

If you don't like the new start screen, use Win7. That registry hack removes more than just the metro start screen (like the new task manager).

    did clean install,s w vista-beta's
no thanks , i wait for final product

no , task manager is still there

    0 removes metro
2 keeps both normal + metro

this metro stuff may be handy for tablets and smart-phones and such
    for a desktop its clumsy

That looks cool. I'll pass, because I'm not a developer, and I wouldn't know what I was getting into :D

Do yourself a favor guys or gals, upgrade to Windows 7, it is more mature and stable that that piece of garbage called Vista!

Actually, we all should can Microsoft products and install Ubuntu instead, however, I don't think Adobe products run on Ubuntu

On my new PC (running Windows 7)I went ahead and installed Open Office, let us see, Microsoft Office Ultimate, about $400, Open Office Free.

Just my 2 cents (My wife won't let me spend more)

    Joe

PD If you decided to move to Windows 7 from Vista, do yourself a favor and do a clean install, do not do an update from Vista!

No good reason I can think of. Unpinned.
