    Thanks.

That stuff's interesting, but I was hoping there might be some hobby-ists with a forum, maybe something here. Seems they're thin on the ground. I am surprised. Must look a bit harder.

    Lenticular printing
The best tutorial on lenticular printing I have found is from vicgi ( dot ) com. They have few thorough tutorials explaining the principles and the steps in making DIY lenticular prints. For example,

    2. Converting a 2D picture to a 3D Lenticular Print - Theory and Tutorial
    3. The Quantitative Analysis of Stereoscopic Effect

    5. Choosing the Right Lenticular Sheet for DIY Lenticular Printing on Inkjet Printers

A couple of things come to mind. First there is a great Yahoo Lenticular Art forum where novices and professional discuss all things lenticular: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/lenticular_art/info

Next is the 1-2 punch of SDM and SPM. These tools can be used for stereoscopic and lenticular work and are very useful. Stereo Photo Maker Stereo Data Maker

Finally if you are interested in taking 3D photos for yourself there is a great guide here: Lenticular Printing

    Good luck!

A bit late to the party but I believe I can be of some help if you want to create a lenticular diy style using no money except to buy the lenticular lens. I've written quite a bit of software to generate depth maps from a stereo pair and interpolate views in between the left and right image.

Here's where the software is lenticular creation software

Dig in as it's all free!
