Pine Cone

Thought I would add one I took last weekend. It was done in the 'studio' (my conservatory) using flash with a set-up similar to Brian's tutorial one (see my photo at bottom). It was fun and I learnt a lot. It is the end of a small pine cone taken at 1:1, stacked using 6 photos in CombineZP.

One thing I found doing this was (if I didn't already know it) this macro lark can be difficult but is rewarding.

Comments appreciated.

This is the setup I used, I recorded direct to a mac with Sofortbild. SB700 with polaroid small soft box with diffuser - but it still needed a good old bit of kitchen towel held on with blue tac! The picture shown on the mac did not turn out too well.
