I believe all the lizards I photographed in Corsica were Wall Lizards, probably all the Tyrrhenian Wall Lizard Podarchis tiliguerta, including the one (a female trying to eat a huge cricket) previously posted:

These were on rocks the base of a cliff in a mountain pass, adjacent to a roadside water pool.

EM-1, Kiron 105 macro, 1/400, 1/640, 1/640, ISO 400, harsh sunlight, hand-held.

    Thanks, David.

I had to give that one a touch more sharping than the others, to define the tongue. I really can't remember if it was protruding before I pressed the shutter release button.

    Thanks, Stumblebum and Brian.

It was a pleasant change to stand in the sunshine and see my potential subjects around me.
