Error in Checkout

I reported a bug back in February and still have no resolution or ETA. Please help!
Most of my customers are in Ireland and, with very few exceptions, there are no postal codes. If a Postal Code is not provided for the Shipping Address, SmugMug returns a 'Problem loading page' error (The page isn't directing properly.) As soon as a value (any value) is entered in the Postal Code field, checkout continues as expected.
Currently, I have a message posted in each of my galleries indicating that a Postal Code must be entered and that Technical Support is working on the problem. Can you tell me if/when I can expect a solution?

Steps to reproduce:
- put anything into the shopping cart
- go to Checkout
- enter Shipping Address:
Address 1: 30 Rivergrove
City: Oranmore
State/Province: "Select a State"
Postal Code: (blank)
Other Province: Galway
Country: Ireland
Telephone: 086 8761111
- Click on NEXT: Shipping Options
Results: Problem loading page (see attachment) in Firefox. Safari gives a similar error Failed to open page (Too many redirects occurred)
