How to make thumbnail display title or caption on hover in SmugMug Style

On my Legacy site, my thumbnails displayed my captions (or titles, or whatever we called them) when hovered, in a SmugMug style gallery, site-wide. I don't recall having to customize anything in order for that to happen, but perhaps I did & forgot I did. Anyway, I hope it's possible again. If so, would someone be able to tell me how? Sample gallery: http://www.winsomeworks.com/Flowers/Wildflowers-Galore/ (Notes: I already have some customizations going on for thumb hovering, so I hope to keep them working as well. There's a thin border & a drop shadow, although it's hard to see the drop shadow with the dark background. I also have virtually no Titles on my site, only captions... so far. That may change. I guess for now I'd like to know how to make either one or both display upon hover action over the thumbs,) I'm not looking for that big overlay that displays over tiled images in folders; I'm looking for a little rectangular with smaller font that used to pop up & was only as large / long as it needed to be to fit the wording. I'd be glad to have this action on a site-wide basis, not just a couple galleries.

I'm not aware of way to display title/captions on the SmugMug Galleries. The title/caption uses 'sm-tile-info' and that gallery doesn't use it like the other galleries (I use the Thumbnail Galleries).

I don't know if this is possible in a SM gallery style, but on my search page, this is what happens when someone hovers over one of the search results (thumbnail). The image pops up to a larger size, has a background color and borders, and shows the gallery title at the bottom (also with its own background color). I can't remember at all what the default behavior would be for the search results without the custom code.

That behavior appears to be built into the search results page and likely wouldn't apply to a smugmug-style gallery. I don't have any CSS related to search on my page and it just happens.

The newer gallery styles show the title and caption when you hover over the photo.
Smugmug-style galleries show the title and caption under the large photo.
