I just wanted to say you could check the WayBackMachine online http://archive.org/web/ for screen shots of your site in various years past. I was able to find quite a few of my site... 26 or so in 7 years. It's pretty easy to use, too, & they'll show you exact dates when your shots of your site were saved. Good luck!

I find seeing text with the background of a photo (as seen on your homepage) to be quite annoying. There are some background photos that don't allow your site name and menu to be read at all, others that are sort of OK. Have you considered placing a transparent background behind the text to allow it to be clearly read?
Some of your galleries allow access to the original images. Was that intentional?
Some of your galleries limit access to the photos with the largest display size being medium or large. Yes, people can grab images from the screen or (sometimes) from the browser cache, but do you not want folks to enjoy your photos? On a large screen both medium and large images are tiny; I usually won't bother looking. Obviously that's your decision (not mine!) and your comfort level (or lack of comfort) relative to sharing on the web definitely feeds into the size decision.
Your keywords (http://www.georgefargophotography.com/keyword) are a mess. It looks like you allowed smug to create keywords from your photo file names. I'd recommend turning that off and removing all of the numeric keywords. You'll find the setting under Account Settings... Discovery... Search... Filename keywording.

I like thin fonts, and they look good on my 2560x1440 screen, as well on my 15" macbook pro retina. I know. Maybe sometimes I like thinner font than other people would prefer, but my guide was, If the font is nicely readable on my 2560x1440 screen It should be definitely readable on smaller resolutions. Most used resolution for my site is 1366x768. And my vision is 10/10 so that also could be misguiding for me

Ah, I just realized the problem. I am using Chrome on a computer with a touch screen that also has a mouse. Unfortunately by default on a touch screen it shows the text for all entries on the screen, not just the hovered entry. I suspect the behavior on your site is due to the same issue.

If it were my site I would remove the keywords created from the file names and go back through and keyword the photos with words you think people will search for. You can apply keywords to multiple photos in a gallery in Organizer.

I'd recommend removing the underline beneath your breadcrumb. It does not show as a single line - instead the line under the bolded part of the breadcrumb is below the line under the beginning of the breadcrumb.

Your logo is a virtual mirror image of Camera Bits (maker of Photo Mechanic). I was trialing it, which is how I noticed. Not sure who got it first.
It's clean and simple, probably looks OK on mobile (I didn't try it, was only on a desktop).
I found the "rates" heading quite misleading, since no rates are given, it is more about how you make arrangements than "rates". Maybe "Services" or some such? I just think someone seeing "rates" expects to see dollars.
The shots are pretty good, though I think some much better than others. My suggestion for a portfolio site is be ruthless in picking only your best work to show.
I guess my main reaction is one of lack of focus in the front, what I think of as the "portfolio" page, i.e. what you are capable of. One needs to ask "what am I selling" and can someone see it there quickly, and simply. Do the shots focus in on that? If you mostly do Portraits do you want to concentrate there? Or Events? It's harder to be a generalist, though you can shoot for that, but this doesn't speak to me as to where your specialty lies. Maybe that's by intent, bt make sure it is.
Along both of those lines as a portfolio site, is pick fewer shots. Avoid the repetitive ones (not that they are bad, just repetitive). People looking here for the first time should come away with a few easily remembered, impressive shots. My suggestion is narrow it down a lot, make them nice and big and memorable.
Now that said, having the events and clients menus lets one dive deeper. That's nice for someone who wants to see a broader sample on a specific theme. I'd reconsider "Clients" and "events" as they don't really describe things similarly to me, is one "portraits" and "events" as on the Rates page?).
I'd also suggest not having the client locked galleries in the same public page; it's mildly annoying to someone browsing, and if they are really private they might not like the feature image shown at all. Either not in the menu (and provide a link), or maybe a top level "Private Gallaries" where someone won't be surprised with a password prompt.
Finally I'd suggest a geographic indication of some sort. People directed there maybe know where are, but someone stumbling on the site has no clue and if you are really a viable candidate for them for work.
The logo on your home page is much too large. Even on a large monitor your logo and menu take up half of the available vertical space. On my phone I have to scroll to see photos. Are you trying to showcase your logo or your photos?
The entries on both your CLIENTS and EVENTS pages are covered with a haze that disappears when I hover over the image. I understand that might be a current fad, but my reaction when seeing that hazy look it to close the page. (Yes, I know that's a personal reaction but I find it hard to believe that I am alone in this behavior. Have you checked with any of your customers or watched anyone navigate your site?
Why are you still using the stock smugmug photo for your contact page? That does not give a professional appearance to your site.
I agree with Ferguson's comments on your rates page. I don't see any rates there; I would rename the page if it were my site.

Or even more to the point your business, photographic philosophy or whatever. Personally I just glaze over with a lot of biographical information unless it is hyper relevant, but where you are and what you do (ok, you do photography, but that's a big area).
I think the format works well but I find it a bit jarring to have your blog entries and your instructional entries intermixed. I would prefer a split between the two, perhaps via a top-level entry.

I don't know if the solution is the same but you might try the code that leftquark provided in the thread collage landscape always shows caption in Chrome (should float), OK in IE11 / FIrefox. The code is in post 42 and post 45 of that thread. If it were my site I would remove the keywords created from the file names and go back through and keyword the photos with words you think people will search for. You can apply keywords to multiple photos in a gallery in Organizer.
