To me, bringing my camera to a friend's wedding is almost like Christmas! The burden of the "real" shots are left to the professional and I get to practice capturing the event as it actually was, which sometimes includes the silly look on the bride's face:

I understand that shooting outdoors in bright sunlight is a real bitch. I have not yet mastered the art of avoiding blown-out highlights. :rolleyes But as I don't have a whole lot of experience shooting people, any thoughts and comments?

Cute shots and nice "face" in the first shot :)

That bride looks familiar for some reason.

Fun dress too! Looks like you had fun!

I particularly like # 3. It is so natural. I love how it focuses on the bride, but you can see the joy of the groom as well! Great job! Yeah- it's fun to be able to relax while taking pics! I do weddings fairly frequently and they are stressful! But it's what I thrive on! Oh, and sometimes even when I'm the "pro" (because I shoot a combination of traditional & pj styles) I get those "funny" looks as well! It's all part of the day! Many of those get chosen for their albums- I guess they think it's them at their most natural! Laughing.gif!
