Well .. it was rather one sided, her opponent Kim Rose walked away with little or no damage.

Is Kim Couture missing some teeth? It looks like it, but I can't tell if it's maybe her mouthpiece... brutal...

It certainly looks like there's a few missing.

Regarding the photos, what about the grain (iso noise). Is it distracting?

Holy crap, hahaha. Kim was so much prettier last week in the shoot with her training for this fight. Randy is a lucky guy though.

Great shots. I think the last one is really great too. Show's a softer side of the Courture's

Heck no, I always expect some noise when viewing these ring events. There's never enough light even at the pro level. These are great shots and the noise doesn't detract from that. Good job!

Incredible job of capturing the action and brutality. Especially, considering these are not ringside and I believe you were shooting from the seats? Have you run these though any noise reduction?

    Just a couple comments:

#4) I think should cropped tighter
#6) Isn't my favorite but it does support the story
#9) They don't take them much better than that.
#11) I think would be a better photo if cropped horizontal. A hair below the top of the ring rope.

I have not processed any noise reduction. Noise Ninja makes things "plasticy" which takes things in another direction. I haven't tried neat image yet.

In my humble professional opinion, Imaginomic Noiseware professional is by far the best noise-reduction bit of kit money can buy. It builds noise profiles based on the sensor in the camera, feed it a few thousand photos and you'll be able to drown out the nastiest noise with little loss in detail.

    Couture News ...
After suffering a broken jaw in her pro debut loss, female mixed martial artist Kim Couture was initially informed that she would require sugery to wire her jaw shut for five weeks. Upon realizing that she was a fighter, doctors decided instead to insert a titanium plate and screws. Couture will undergo surgery on Wednesday. The procedure will allow her to return to ttraining and sparring in just 6 weeks, a lot sooner than possible had she had her jaw wired shut. "I will be eating a steak dinner the night of my surgery," she remarked. Excited about the news, Couture is eager for a rematch with Rose, stating, "I will definitely get her back! I don't think she can whoop me."

A curious thing ... I just realized that my Adobe RAW converter was set to 240 DPI. All of my recent conversions were not at 300 DPI like they should have been.

This would have affected sharpness but what about grain? Would a 240 DPI photo appear grainier than it's 300 DPI twin?
