Share to facebook. Which thumbnail?

Hi
I am sharing my photos to facebook with share to facebook link (no publishing to albums) and I am trying to understand how focus selects the appropriate thumbnail for my shot.
I have tried first to crop my thumbnail before sharing to facebook but it looks like that facebook "ignores" the cropped thumbnail.

What should I do ?

Facebook looks within the Gallery to see what images it can pull for the thumbnail. You can check http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ to see what they're pulling.

I just copy the browser url and paste it into the FB message. It auto generates to album and thumbnail.

Hi,
I just want to have a customized thumbnail on facebook... I am using the crop thumbnail from smugmug but facebook share does not see that cropped thumbnail...
