Hi all
I went to day to the desert
it's near to my home:D
I was looking for scorpion or camel spider
but I found something interesting
desert mantis
this kind lives in the desert.
it runes pretty fast and therefore don't need any wings.
sry for my long speech:D

Hi there Ali, wow I haven't seen a Desert Mantis before.
They are very broad across the whole body and head compared to the Mantis's we are used to seeing here.
It looks more like a crustacean doesn't it.

Thanks for sharing this with us Ali, very cool shots thumb.gif

Very interesting. Nice images. No much point in mimicking a leaf or twig if there are none around. :D

I think a spambot actually bumped this one up earlier, but it was a treat to have this necro'd anyway :D
