Issue editing text with in text boxes

I am having a problem that I'm not sure if it's me, Smug, or coding somewhere on my site.
When in customizing and settings on a page....
In a text box I'm editing, I'll highlight a portion of text to edit it's font size, etc. Often when I click DONE, it will alter all the text in that box, not just the text I highlighted to edit. It didn't used to to this. It just started happening on and off.
I use Chrome primarily. I've tried seeing if it's a cookies things, doesn't seem to be.
Any tips? TIA

That doesn't explain your situation, but users with a lot more experience and skill than me suggested that people should use HTML content blocks instead so that the text can have targeted formatting applied and have more options

I get that behavior too; actually, always have. It depends on how you enter the text to begin with (copy/paste versus typing). Also depends on what kind of formatting you want to do. To my mind the behaviors are bugs, but I don't know if SM has the same evaluation. I don't think there's a way to avoid the problems.
Are you still having trouble with the text block? If you can include some specifics (link and description of what happened/what you want) we would be happy to look at it for you!
The text block is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), the changes are live and you should see the changes in the text block BEFORE saving.

I have a page for pricing and packages. My issue is when I make changes to text in a text box that I highlight, it should just change what I highlight. Instead it randomly often changes more than what is highlight, sometimes the whole box, which I don't want. I'm not trying to do anything more complicated like writing html or css. Just simply trying to do things like change a line to a larger font size, or change a word to bold. But often I wind up having to delete the text box and type it ALL all over again just to get what I want changed. It's like there's a glitch or hiccup in the back end coding on Smugs end? I apologize if this doesn't make a ton of sense. I will try and duplicate the issue and take some screenshots to show.

I think the bugs in text blocks have been reported very early on in the release of New. The behavior the OP is describing is consistent with the problems.
