"Universal Analytics is out of beta, and everyone can upgrade!" ??

Google Analytics is now enticing users to switch. Many months ago I asked about this and was told SM would let us know what/if/when to do anything.

Should we stay away from this Universal version? If someone switches to it, will it function on SM? Is a user doomed if they switch without realizing the mess they've made?

Maybe some instructions to users would be helpful...:nod

I would recommend holding off for a bit until we do some more testing with Google's new platform.

Thanks, will do. I just hope other users won't just click the button and go there, not understanding the possible consequences.
