when i am logged in, editing gallery settings, my gallery password is showing asterisks. this is quite annoying as i don't always remember what password i made for each clients gallery. am i doing something wrong or is this just the way it is now?

Hi Jacque, let me explain: Showing passwords as asterisks was introduced due to security reasons, and will not be changing as passwords shouldn't be stored in plain text. Your passwords, and in turn galleries, are now much more secure than they were before. You can set a new password if you don't remember the existing one; we also recommend using password hints or keeping a spreadsheet with all your passwords. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Is there any way to change this back to showing passwords to admins? I absolutely hate this. I make a lot of passworded galleries and now I always end up putting a very easy password, because otherwise I forget them and I really don't have time (nor is this any way convenient) to make an extra excel file with all passwords. I don't understand how this helps to secure photos when even admins can't see passwords.
