Lightroom plugin auto-match with RAW files

The Lightroom plugin is great, and it always finds all similar pictures when I perform a sync with SmugMug. But I have both JPG and RAW versions of many pictures, and I always want the RAW file as the correct match in Lightroom, because if I make any adjustments on a picture, it is always on the RAW file, and I want any adjustments to be synced with SmugMug.
To me, solving conflicts after a sync is all about to choose the RAW file instead of any JPG copies. So a choice to automatically prefer these would make the sync much faster and easier.
