Some shots from last Friday nite at the Raleigh Downtown Twilight Criterium. The women went around 6:30 and you could see the oncoming storm...around 8:30 the men launched in black of night and then the rain hit hard. Good to see a lot of US Pro teams in attendance. Phew...shooting cycling in the black of night with only ambient street lighting amidst a massive rain storm is TOUGH! Anyways, got a bunch of keepers...hope you enjoy! Taken with D200, 70-200/2.8, SB-800 and SB-600 on remote...

All shots here btw:

Thanks! Cycling, if nothing else, is absolutely colorful! :) But I'm also a huge fan of the sport...

Charles, you did a great job with this series. And I'm even wearing my Raleigh tee shirt as I type this (the brand, not the town).

    Thanks!

BTW...does Raleigh sponsor a team? Your post reminded me that I can't remember the last time I saw pros on a Raleigh. Great bikes tho but definitely under appreciated.
