Passworded galleries search

I'm getting a lot of statcounter hits exposing actual gallery links on my site that have a password.
All these galleries inherit from a top folder password. Even the bots are finding family gallery links.

examples of "came from"
www.smugmug.com/browse/Family/galleries/...
www.smugmug.com/search...
www.smugmug.com/search/?searchWords=...

I thought that if a gallery had a password it would be hidden from the world? What gives?

Here's one showing 2012 Christmas I added photos to yesterday.
Using IE clicking it does ask for password, but why is it even showing in search?
The only link to it on my site is in a passworded gallery html box.

If they're public galleries and have smugmug searchability enabled, they should show up. Make them unlisted and turn web and smugmug searchable to off in the gallery settings if you don't want them appearing anywhere.

This doesn't appear right. I'll ask our QA team to take a closer look. Thanks for reporting it.
