Wordpress photonic plugin stopped working

Hey all, I use the Photonic plugin heavily on our website to display Smugmug photo galleries. A couple days ago is just stopped working and won't connect to Smugmug anymore. The plugin code hasn't been updated in 3 months and none of the pages have been changed in a few weeks. I haven't logged in to Smugmug in a couple weeks.
That leaves my primary suspect as Smugmug. Did something change in the way external tools connect to Smugmug's API? Could something have been changed in my account? I'd love to hear any suggestions. Our website is pretty much down for the count right now.
